Coming soon!
Lately we've been working on quite a lot of new things to integrate in OpenInviter: Boonex Dolphin implementation, My.BarrackObama.com plugin, 20somethings on Ning, TheQuad.com integration and many others. We are not having a very exact release date for any of these items but stay tuned!
What do you think about this? What else would you like to see added/changed in OpenInviter?

Re: Coming soon!
Hy,
I already integrated Openinviter to my Dolphin (incl. integration to points plugin for using OI and people registering with invitation link); I am almost content with Openinviter, only Captcha is missing, and Mail sending is not working properly (Mails are all passed through, but Openinviter does not use default Site-email address, but any tucxy@myprovider email address). Maybe I start integration PHPmailer to Openinviter for optimal mail functionality.
Regards, Z

Re: Coming soon!
Hi,
The HUGE Chinese social site - www.powerapple.com would be a fantastic addition.
Being able to plug in with ZenCarts eCommerce sites would also be rather good.
Good work chaps, Paul

Re: Coming soon!
The thinking of government on the security threat and future avilability is very natural and it ought to be addressed. Government, in my view, is pushing the idea in to the minds of inetllects, scientists and designers the very need of the requirement.Who to start and where to begin? The answer is partially addressed by the government. I do not think that the Government would like to own and run the event. The initiative has come. The Government, Institution and Public Industry consortium may answer the issue. The country indeed, through Defense labs and the public sector company, has done high end microprocessor and Microcontroller respectively and owning them. The indigenous Microcontroller Patent is already under process. The India Microprocessor is going to be and ought to be True. This will play very big role in the future of our country's requirement. Of course the foundry, to realize the design on Silicon, at present can be external. Suitable safe guard may have to be taken with the foundry for the Silicon realization.

I think the OpenInviter should include the folowing options:
Import contacts with contact ID, name, and thumbnail image url
Send Personalized messages AND shoutouts/bulletin posts
Supports unicode (non-English) names
Support captcha challenges
Multiple Local IP Address Support

Re: Coming soon!
Hi tataencu,
Nice work
ICQ and Macmail plugins please
Also, is there a changelog per release?
---
black202: the dropdown is user programmable, you can output images if you want but i think it is probably outside of the scope of this project to do what you requested as part of the OpenInviter base libraries. Perhaps someone may offer an example.php to illustrate how to use the libs to achieve your request using the getPlugins() call.

Re: Coming soon!
Hello hansmeiser, you can use the autoupdate future if you want to have all the plugins and base files up to date. (and here is the link to changelog http://openinviter.com/changelog.php )

Re: Coming soon!
Hi tataencu, No joomla plugin has excited us more than openinviter. We installed and found pure email providers / Linkedin are working fine in LIVE. BUT social n/w sites like facebook, Orkut are not working in LIVE with this error - The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Our shared webhosting provider clarified CURL is supported and advised us to contact you. Strangely, facebook ivite is working fine in LOCAL server.
Pls clarify what is the solution as yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail are working fine. Also, how to extract emailids of Facebook contacts as it shows only Names (not emailids) How do you set up captcha for this invite page as my current recaptcha is not capable to set up. Ravi -

Re: Coming soon!
Forgot one more thing - Rediff, Indiatimes are not working (with full or part emailid)
For some, full emailid to be entered ad for some, only id without emailprovider name. Will it be possible to handle this in generic fashion (eg enter full emailid and openinviter manages internally)

Re: Coming soon!
I predict a few upgrade gotchas, though not an overwhelming number (unless the media beats them up).
PowerPC apps WILL continue to run. By default, the PPC to Intel code translator - Rosetta - is not installed. However, when such an app is first run, Snow Leopard offers to do a download install. This is only 2MB, so not a great burden.
After that, all PowerPC based apps will run as before.
As I understand it, the majority of the space saving comes from only installing printer drivers for local and network detected printers, removing redundant fat binary code (Snow Leopard will only run on Intel Macs, so there is little use for its apps to contain fat binaries), plus optimizations to make core apps leaner and meaner.
Language support will still include the dozen or so languages which few of us speak, so there is still a good reason to customize the install options to save extra space.
The main areas I predict will give trouble will be app combinations that require kernel extension support, such as 3G modems, application enhancers, including Safari plugins, and old drivers.
I also predict Mac OS X Hints will be busy over the next few weeks! ___________________________________________________________________________________________ instant approval credit cards | plastic surgery orange county | hoteles en san miguel de allende
