After yesterday's launch that has brought the option to use a hosted version of OpenInviter today we are releasing a new version of OpenInviter that brings a largely requested - and really useful - feature: statistics.
And the nice thing is statistics are available for BOTH the standard package and the hosted client!

Now you can see how many users have imported contacts, how many contacts were imported or how many messages were sent. And you can see this both in total and on a per-service basis.

How to get your stats:

1. Download the new version of OpenInviter (either the standard package or the hosted client) and install it.
2. Make sure that the folder OpenInviter is installed in is writable by your webserver.
3. Edit stats_user and stats_password in config.php. This credentials are going to be used in order to login to the stats viewing page.
4. That's it :-)

When you want to see statistics about your OpenInviter installation just go to http://#openinviter_location#/stats.php ( replace #openinviter_location# with the url used to access OpenInviter) and... VOILA!

i am got the message "Stats not enabled."What i can do ?

I have no idea about free member...but there must be a setting for stats.
Do you up load to the server or is it just there.

In config.php you need your server login and server password to get stats enabled.

Code:

		"stats_user"=>"YOUR USERNAME", //Required to access the stats
		"stats_password"=>"YOUR PASSWORD" //Required to access the stats

But in saying that I am guessing that using free there is no stats... I also have no idea what a free member is....explain??

Hi,

stats_user and password is any user used for login to stats... when you run stats.php you can use this.

Now i have a question

How I can run the stats.php from joomla? I can not run directly.

go and edit the file stats.php

locate the following code lines.. and commit it or delete.. "take a backup of the file first"..

Once you remove these lines.. the stats.php will work fine.. but don't forget to put a password on the folder containing the file.. otherwise the public will have access to your stats..

I remove this code and try to run:

But return this error:

Fatal error: Class 'JFactory' not found

How run stats.php in joomla?

I am using open inviter joomla component for my joomla site for accessing the orkut,facebook friend list..but i have a problem that i cannot access the images of friends and also the email ids can any body please help me how solve that problem i worked on facebook.plg.php but it's looking quite complex for me....please help me!!!
