| The OpenInviter Joomla Component has the simplest installation of all the OpenInviter modules. All you have to do is go to Admin->Extensions->Install/Uninstall, upload the zip file provided and let Joomla do the rest. After that you can find the configuration panel in Admin->Components->OpenInviter. From there, you can change the values from the openinviter_settings array in config.php file. To display the component you have to create a new menu item which links to index.php?option=com_openinviter. From another point of view, after you imported the contacts, you also have the option to send email invites. The invites are sent using the Mailer object from the JFactory class. |
